President/CEO Troy Churchill Recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year

Cypress Living President/CEO Troy Churchill was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce at their inaugural Chamber Awards & Board Installation Dinner on August 11, 2022 at The Club at Pelican Preserve.

Troy credits the amazing leadership team at Cypress Living and the meaningful work they do providing innovative solutions for older adults in Southwest Florida for his nomination and winning this award.

“Troy has the unique ability to forecast a trend before the trend occurs” is frequently stated. He brings a visionary focus and passion for older adult living and was the driving force behind the successful rebranding of Cypress Living, Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home, followed immediately by the necessary pivoting to more innovative technology during the pandemic, including telehealth and remote patient monitoring.

The Oaks campus expansion project is just one example of Troy’s entrepreneurial skills in action. He successfully navigated the complexities of bringing the 12-acre expansion with $46 million in construction costs to fruition, securing funding, and staging a fantastic groundbreaking event that brought leaders in from around the state! This project, now underway, will drive future revenue and create financial sustainability for Cypress Cove’s future.

With an innovative, seamless approach to care, Cypress at Home is also thriving. When the company launched five years ago, it started with 35 clients and $35K revenue/month. They are now caring for over 1200 clients with $600K/monthly revenue, and actively hiring additional healthcare professionals to serve the needs of older adults in Lee County who wish to successfully age in place in their homes.
