Troy holds the leadership role at Cypress Living and its subsidiaries—the luxury retirement community, Cypress Cove, and its in-home care provider, Cypress at Home. Troy brings to Cypress Living a visionary focus and passion for older adult living and care. Under his leadership, Cypress Living has undergone rapid innovation and growth as it positions itself to be the leading innovator of senior living solutions in Southwest Florida. He is currently leading the development of The Oaks, an 82-independent living apartment/villa expansion project at the 60-acre Cypress Cove community.

Vice President of Human Resources

Drummond’s responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of human resource management for Cypress Living and all of its affiliates. These include strategic planning, benefits & compensation, policy and procedure, recruitment, professional development, retention strategies, legal compliance, managerial support, employee relations, negotiations, risk management, and conflict resolution. Prior to joining Cypress Living in 2005, Drummond’s experience included HR Management in manufacturing and healthcare environments—in both single and multi-site operations capacities.

LOUISA CANNAMELA

LOUISA CANNAMELA, APRN

Vice President of Clinical Services

Louisa leads the development of clinical policies, procedures, and processes to ensure a consistent outcome within the Cypress Living family—as well as maintaining a strong educational and competency program for all clinical team members. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with multiple years of experience in both sub-acute, acute and outpatient care of older adults within skilled nursing facilities, primary care offices and client homes. She manages a team of over 40 caregivers for Cypress at Home, while maintaining the company’s CHAP regulations and conducting supervisory visits.

MIKE MOSS

MIKE MOSS, MAML, CSE

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Mike oversees the sales and marketing functions for Cypress Living and its affiliates, Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home. Mike has an energy and passion for older adults as well as a working knowledge of the Southwest Florida market. Prior to his new role with Cypress Living, Mr. Moss had spent the past 10 years managing physician relations, business development and continuum of care relations teams to ensure coordinated health, wellness and medical care for providers and residents living in southwest Florida.

JOE VELDERMAN

JOE VELDERMAN, MCP

Vice President of Innovation

Joe is responsible for building and supporting the innovation capabilities of Cypress Living and all of its affiliates. In addition to these innovation efforts, he is also responsible for all technology operations within the Cypress brand; guiding strategy and direction for all infrastructure, enterprise applications, and data initiatives. Joe has always had an affinity for seniors and is passionate about developing and leveraging technology tools as a means for helping seniors age in a healthy and graceful way.

JEFF DUNKLE

JEFF DUNKLE

Vice President of Financial Services

As Vice President of Financial Services, Jeff is responsible for direct accountability and oversight for the financial services of Lee Healthcare Resources and its subsidiaries.

He previously served as Director of Financial Services for Cypress Cove, joining the Cypress family in 2013. Prior to that, Jeff was employed as Accounting Manager at Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey and as CFO for Wesley Enhanced Living in Pennsylvania.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. and he’s a recent graduate of The Chamber of Southwest Florida Leadership Lee program.

CHRISTINE BURNS

CHRISTINE BURNS, MHA, LPN

Vice President of Home and Community Based Services

Christine has direct accountability and oversight for the overall leadership, direction, growth, and culture for Cypress at Home. Additionally, she is responsible for the strategic direction of management services for home and community services within Southwest Florida.

Christine has worked in the healthcare arena for 20 years, having served in various leadership positions. Prior to joining Cypress at Home, she served as the Director of Post-Acute Intake and Business Development at Lee Health. She was instrumentational in the cultural transformation and implementation of leader standard work throughout the care continuum.

Christine holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Bellevue University. She serves as an officer of the District XVI Florida Health Care Association and is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
